An exceedingly rare set of deluxe Tolkien works. For sale is the only Unwin Hyman deluxe set of Tolkien's finest works for sale worldwide. These are exceedingly rare editions of the famous'Deluxe' editions printed for The Hobbit and LOTR. Each copy comes with the original black slipcase, with rare curved edge not seen on many other versions.

Each book features the famous bejeweled-style cover decoration. The Deluxe edition is remarkably collectable and sought-after, however this is an even rarer set.

Unwin Hyman printed very few books for Tolkien, and this set is testament to that unusual time in the Tolkien print history. In Very Good to Excellent Condition.
