In partnership with Bockatech, Amaray manufacture a sustainable alternative to coffee cups, designed to satisfy the demands of busy consumers, and to be a sustainable environmental solution.
Partially as a consequence of design, millions of paper coffee cups end up in landfill. This is because paper cups need a wax or plastic lining to hold liquids, this fact ultimately makes them more difficult to recycle because it’s not straightforward to separate the two materials at recycling plants.
CORRETTO™ cups are designed to both be re-usable, and recyclable, and have been designed so that they create less CO2 during their life cycle than alternative cups on offer, and 96% less than normal paper cups.
Made from polypropylene, the CORRETTO™ features EcoCore™ foamcore walls which mean the coffee, tea or other hot drink inside the cup remains hot, whilst your hand holding the cup does not! This also means that additional materials to act as barriers, such as cardboard barrier sleeves, are no longer required.
The cup is designed to eliminate the loss of valuable resources, reduce emissions, avoid plastic to landfill, and create real value in the waste stream.
