Description:
The Waste2O was designed to provide an on-site food waste solution to commercial foodservice operators. As an in-vessel bio-digester that uses a powerful biological formulation to digest soft, organic food waste leaving nothing but waste water that gets sent to drain, it is an easy, safe and environmentally friendly food waste solution that helps businesses to divert food waste from landfill.
In order for Mechline’s Waste2O to blend in seamlessly with other major pieces of equipment in the commercial catering environment, it requires a manufacturing process that enables hygienic durable products to be moulded.
Solution:
The Mechline Waste2O was aimed at the US market and required an approved specialized material meeting UL94V0 rating.
ICORENE® 9105V0 Grey has the certification from the UL94 laboratories and enabled to meet the stringent material specifications.
Result:
ICORENE® 9105V0 Grey is an example of technological advances that have made this grade possible to develop. It’s an easy to mould grade and has good mechanical properties.
