About the Group

As one of the BPF's biggest groups, the Moulders and Spcialist Processors Group is open to all companies processing plastics in the UK - including injection/blow moulding and contract/ in-house moulding companies. All members of the group have been operational for at least two years, and carefully vetted by the Federation and it's members, so you can be sure that all companies within the group are of the highest calibre and integrity.

Overseen by the group's Executive, Graeme Craig, all companies have a constant point of contact regarding any legislative concerns, production issues, supply chain concerns etc.

Benchmarking Survey

In an aim to allow it's members to compare their activites with others in the industry (and thus adapt and improve), the BPF launched the 'Moulders Benchmarking Survey' - confidential and exclusive to members of the group.

As is implied by the name, the survey never fails to provide reference points/measurements which identify a 'good' standard for the industry, and deliver results (including audits, reporting ESG, and staff reviews) which can be utilised in diverse ways, to refine and enhance your business.

Sales Leads

A favourite benefit amongst all Members is the BPF's online Sales Leads system. This identifies legitimate enquiries relevant to the group, these are then screened and checked by the relevant executive, and distributed to all members (that opt to receive sales leads).

The Moulders & Specialist Processors Group especially have had many successes through the system - conncting the group's members directly to people requiring their services.

BPF Testimonial Meet The Toolmaker

The BPF's Meet The Toolmaker event will allow plastic processors from across the Industry to arrange 1-2-1 meetings with the leading recyclers from across the UK. Sessions take place both virtually and physically, enabling attendance from anywhere; this also allows cross Group discussion and collaboration/networking in a different format.

Tours

Members of The Moulders & Specialist Processors Group always have opportunities to invite other members to visit their site, opening the doors to innovation, new technology and opportunities - as well as the opportunity to visit fellow member's.

Having returned from a tour around injection moulding facilities in Italy not long ago, the group are always keen to prioritise the networking and knowledge-sharing benefits that come out of factory tours.
