BPF and Sharpak Meet with Luke Hall MP to Discuss the Plastics Industry

On 28th September 2015, representatives from the British Plastics Federation (BPF), Sharpak Managing Director Martin Taylor and Sharpak Materials Scientist Matthew Cox met with Luke Hall, the Conservative MP for Thornbury and Yate and the Chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Retail.

At the meeting, which took place at Sharpak’s site in Yate, Luke Hall was given an overview of the Plastics Industry, presented with the current issues plastics packaging companies are facing and introduced to the issues that recyclers are tackling.

Sharpak, who operate four sites across Europe, manufacture trays and packaging solutions for a variety of sectors, including meat, produce, bakery and bespoke design.
