Pete Adey, StaubliPete Adey is a control engineer who provides technical product and applications support to improve productivity, safety and process improvement across a wide range of industries including Aerospace, Defence, Plastics injection moulding, Automotive manufacturing and Offshore. Having spent 15 years with Staubli in both a commercial and technical role, Pete provides support across a wide range of products and industries. His knowledge and expertise enable customers to maximise their business. Pete has worked with many large organisations including BAE systems, Jaguar Land Rover, Magna, and Bombardier to provide them with high quality solutions for their process and product problems. Pete is a time served apprentice with HNC in Electrical and control engineering. |

Nigel Heaton, Human ApplicationsNigel is a Chartered Member of both the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health and the Chartered Institute of Ergonomics and Human Factors. He works for Human Applications, a risk management consultancy specialising in the provision of consultancy, audit and training to large organisations worldwide. Nigel has been engaged by a wide range of companies to help then on their journey to improve their health, safety and well-being performance. He has worked with the Boards and senior management teams of organisations such as DHL, the Home Office, Howdens, etc. He has also worked with companies such as Amazon EU, Highways England, and bodies such as the Houses of Parliament, the Ministry of Defence, etc. on delivering leadership training that allows leaders to understand how to deliver more effective health, safety and well-being. |

Gary Lewis, Squire Patton Boggs He has represented a European chipboard manufacturer in relation to a prosecution bythe HSE following an explosion at its production plant causing £8 million damage as a result of which one employee was very seriously injured. He also represented the same client following an accident where two contractors were killed while performing maintenance work on a conveyor that was not isolated. He regularly advises major construction clients in relation to health and safety issues, including attendance at PACE interviews and representation at the Magistrates’ court. |
