BPF Meets Treasury Ahead of the Spring Budget

The British Plastics Federation met with representatives from Her Majesty's Treasury (HMT) on Tuesday 20th February at the Horse Guards offices in Westminster. Post submission of the spring budget asks document, the BPF was given the opportunity to further discuss the requests on behalf of industry. During the meeting, the topics raised included the key policy asks (Download Document) and added the importance of recognising the Plastics Industry in the UK as a Foundation Industry and acknowledging the role that the plastics industry can play to enable reaching net zero by 2050.
