Great to be back at live events: BPF reports from Interplas 2021

The British Plastics Federation exhibited at the UK's largest plastics exhibition, Interplas, held last week between 28 and 30 September in Birmingham.

Interplas takes place every three years and is viewed by many as a must-attend event in the UK plastics industry calendar. 

The BPF stand was very busy, with enquiries from visitors looking for information about plastics companies. Our aim is always to promote BPF members, so we were happy to recommend our relevant members as top suppliers. 

The BPF's President Karen Drinkwater presented at the Women in Plastics discussion on the third day of Interplas (L), followed by a presentation by the BPF Senior Sustainability Issues Executive Adela Putinelu (R), who also took part in a panel discussion. Following the panel debate, Sustainability Issues Executive Adela Putinelu (R) presented an overview of BPF’s sustainability initiatives and programmes for the plastics supply chain at the Interplas Sustainability Stage.

The BPF was also promoting some of its latest projects  during Interplas including Polymer Courses, Polymer Jobs, Sustainability in the Plastics Supply Chain and the BPF Recycling Roadmap.

The next Interplas will be held in 2023. We are looking forward to it!
