BPF Response to EU Consultation Addressing the Interface Between Chemical, Product & Waste Legislation

The BPF recently inputted into the EU consultation addressing the interface between chemical, product and waste legislation - a copy of the response can be found here.

In responding, the BPF sought to ensure the continuation of plastics recycling across Europe including where risk-assessed, demonstrated safe use can ensure there is no 'cliff edge' scenario whereby certain items containing certain substances are prohibited from recycling and could potentially end up landfilled and/or incinerated.
