BPF Seminar: Let’s Grow Plastics Recycling

The British Plastics Federation is holding a seminar entitled: ‘Let’s Grow Plastics Recycling’ on Thursday 1st October 2009 at BPF House, London. The seminar will focus on the positive ways in which plastics recycling can be increased and how plastics and related business can be successful in this field.

Stephen Hunt, BPF Business Development Manager says:

‘Huge progress has been made developing plastics recycling in the UK over the last decade and by adopting a proactive and positive approach the industry can continue to grow this environmentally and economically important sector. Despite the current market conditions there is a real opportunity for UK plastics companies to work with stakeholders in order to harness the commercial benefits of plastics recycling.’

This seminar will explore the various ways in which the industry and key stakeholders can take proactive steps to expand and increase plastics recycling in the UK. The programme draws on the knowledge of a range of carefully assembled experts from all areas of the plastics waste and recycling sector including industry, retailers, local government and European associations.
