BPF Seminar: PVC and the Low Carbon Future
Thursday, 15 October 2009
On Thursday 19th November 2009, the British Plastics Federation Vinyl’s Group will be holding its annual PVC Seminar at BPF House, London.
The PVC seminar, now in its 10th year, acts as showcase for the key arguments supporting PVC as a sustainable material and will provide delegates with a unique insight into the latest progressive sustainability programmes and the growing recycling record that positions PVC at the forefront of industrial materials in terms of the role it plays in helping to achieve society's environmental objectives.
Sarah Plant, BPF Industrial Issues Executive says:
“PVC is widely misunderstood as a material and the major contribution it provides to economic, social and environmental sustainability is often overlooked. This seminar will dispel some of the myths surrounding PVC and arm delegates with facts about a material that is essential for many aspects of modern life ranging from healthcare to efficient transport solutions.”
Highlights will include:
- Heltmuth Leitner, ECVM - PVC now and in the future
- Roger Mottram, Ineos - PVC: Energy, Resource, Cost and Life Saving
- David Wrigley, Epwin Group - PVC: Recycling & Recyclability
- Ilse Beterems, Ferrari S.A. - Recycling of PVC Fabric
Delegates attending this seminar will also benefit from an exceptional opportunity to network with industry peers, customers and journalists.
This one-off event is priced at just £60 + VAT per delegate.
