BPF sponsoring Plasticity: Designing for the Future

The British Plastics Federation (BPF) is sponsoring the 6th Plasticity Forum: Designing for the Future – Plastic and the Circular Economy. In addition to sponsoring the event, BPF Vinyls Group Chairman Roger Mottram will deliver a speech entitled Vinyl Industry Innovation for a Circular Economy.

The event brings together plastics experts, circular economy and sustainability experts as well as manufacturers to discuss innovation and the dynamics of scaling processes, materials and recycling to reduce waste and create value. It presents a unique opportunity to hear from a diverse range of experts while also introducing the design community to the opportunities plastics present in the areas of sustainability and the circular economy.

BPF Director General Philip Law states:

The BPF is glad to be supporting this unique event, which features an impressive array of speakers and the opportunity to bring the design community into the wider discussion about plastics, sustainability and the circular economy. Although all are welcome, we are particularly keen for designers to come and learn about the many ways plastics contribute positively to the sustainability agenda and how they will continue to do so as we move towards a more sustainable future.

Plasticity Forum: Designing for the Future – Plastic and the Circular Economy is being held as part of the London Design Festival. It takes place 21 September at RSA House, London.
