BPF welcomes Mike Jones as Chair of the IH&S Committee

Mike Jones, of Distrupol, has been elected as the successor to Lynn Edwards as Chair of the BPF’s Industrial Health and Safety Committee.
Mike is a long-standing and highly respected member of the Committee, and has been a staunch supporter of SIMPL from the beginning. The BPF believes Mike’s in-depth knowledge of both the Committee programme and SIMPL strategy will contribute to a seamless transition, and will enable the Committee to continue its aim to develop the field of health and safety.
The Industrial Health and Safety Committee is currently involved in many areas of interest to the entire plastic industry, including the progression of the SIMPL strategy. SIMPL is a unique Health & Safety voluntary commitment, aiming to reduce accidents and improve health and safety standards across the UK plastic industry.
