BPF Director General Speaks Of Need For More UK Sourced Plastics Car Components

BPF Director General Peter Davis has spoken of his observations following the BPF's annual 'Plastics in Automotive Applications' seminar, which took place on Thursday 28th November 2013.

"At a recent 'Plastics in Automotive Applications' seminar, taking place at the BPF offices in London, a speaker from the Department of Business surprisingly said that only one third of car parts needed by UK automotive companies were actually sourced from this country."

"The percentage of plastics components is probably much higher but certainly car companies are crying out for more UK sourced plastics components.”
