Amongst the deserved winners at this year’s British Safety Council Sword of Honour and Globe of Honour award ceremony, was BPF member Albis (UK) Ltd.
Distributor and compounder Albis (UK) Ltd was included in the prestigious winners’ list for a Sword of Honour award, which recognises the 'best of the best' in health and safety management. Nominated and winning companies come from a range of sectors, including construction, custodial services, education and training, energy generation and distribution, financial services, food and drink, leisure, major hazards, manufacturing, motor vehicle manufacture, offshore oil and gas, retail and utilities.
Albis (UK) Ltd’s Head of Health, Safety and Environment Martin Jones says: "We aspire to be the best at whatever we do, whether that be in quality, service, reliability or safety, so it was a natural choice for us to seek out the best partners to help us raise our safety standards and achieve our goals. Our partnership with the British Safety Council will help us ensure that Albis (UK) Ltd remains a safe place to work and visit. We are also working with the British Safety Council to give something back to the community in the form of safety training for school leavers – we totally support the cause of giving up time to help youngsters understand about the danger of the workplace."
