British Pavilion to debut at Plastics and Rubber Indonesia 2015

For the first time, UK companies under the ‘British Pavilion’ banner will reach out to Indonesia’s plastics market by presenting their products and services at the key exhibition in Indonesia - Plastics and Rubber Indonesia. Held in Jakarta between 18th and 21st November, the show expects to attract over 12,000 visitors and in excess of 650 exhibitors.

With a population of 250 million and an annual rate of growth for plastic consumption of over 6%, the Indonesian market offers huge opportunities for both UK equipment manufacturers and skills and process developers. Domestic supply contributes 3.6 million tonnes of plastics a year towards the total demand of 4.3 million tonnes, with the rest of the material imported.

As the 10th largest economy worldwide and 4th most populous country with constantly growing demand on consumer goods, exhibitors can expect a wealth of opportunities to be on offer at the show. In addition, British exhibitors have been able to take advantage of UKT&I grants of £2,500, covering the cost of a 9sqm stand, providing a cost effective way for interested companies to reach this exciting market. Plastics and Rubber Indonesia incorporates three other shows, which are related to the industry: Mould & Die Indonesia, Plaspak Indonesia and Drinktech Indonesia. These will attract even more trade visitors to the fair ground. The last edition of Plastics and Rubber Indonesia featured exhibitors from 30 countries including 6 international Pavilions from: China, Germany, Italy, Korea, Singapore and Taiwan.

There are still a few places left at the UK Pavilion for those who are interested to join the group. For more information, please visit: www.bpfevents.co.uk
