Brussels and Paris closer to the British Plastics Federation
Saturday, 1 September 2007
On Wednesday 14th November the Eurostar rail service to Brussels, Paris and Lille will mover from Waterloo station to the stunning, newly refurbished St Pancras station.
The high speed, 186 mph, trains running on new track will cut journey times to Brussels by 21 minutes (1hr 51mins) and to Paris by 25 mins (2hours 15 mins).
Peter Davis, Director General of the BPF said: ‘The Eurostar terminal’s proximity to the BPF office means we are now a natural hub for European plastics industry meetings. Also our seminar programme at the BPF should attract more delegates from Europe. People can travel from Belgium and France to the BPF with a low carbon footprint and the minimum of delay in security checks.
The BPF is holding the following seminars in the next few months:
15th November
Stoke Moathouse
PVC Seminar
22nd November
BPF Offices, London
Health and Safety: Noise in the Workplace
29th November
PERA, Melton Mowbray
Chemicals Policy: REACH
5th December
