Cable Praises Peter Davis’s “Sterling Leadership” of The BPF

Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills The Rt. Hon. Dr Vince Cable MP has written to BPF Director-General Peter Davis OBE to mark his retirement at the end of June.
Dr Cable wrote “I would like to take this opportunity to express sincere appreciation of your sterling leadership of the British Plastics Federation and the significant contribution that you have made to the success of the UK plastics sector. Your commitment and enthusiasm will be greatly missed by industry and the Government”.
Peter Davis and his wife Anne are guests today at a Buckingham Palace Garden Party.
Peter Davis said “this is recognition of the achievements and hard work of all BPF staff in representing and promoting the UK Plastics Industry. Also the commitment of our members who hold office as Presidents or Chairmen and members of our Groups and Committees”.
