BPF supports local industry
The British Plastics Federation's Tim Marsden will be presenting at an event at the CALMARE Centre at the University of Exeter on 16th October.
The event – “From Trash to Treasure” – will be exploring turning waste products into art. The BPF’s presentation will be “setting the scene” for the day, leading into presentations from a number of artists and designers, whilst also focussing on material reuse and recycling.
Details of the event can be found HERE.
Part funded for two years by the European Regional Development Fund Programme 2007 - 2013, with match funding from partners, CALMARE (Centre for ALternative MAterials and REmanufacturing Technologies) can support businesses in South West England with a range of material development and sustainability projects and services. These include materials testing, waste reduction and advising on remanufacturing and recycling options.
This is one of just a number of events that the BPF is supporting through the CALMARE initiative. If you are a plastics processor or manufacturer and based in the South West, please contact the CALMARE team to see if you are eligible for 12 hours free business consultancy.
