Herve Millet

Hervé Millet is a 55 years chemical engineer with an additional educational background in business administration. He spent 22 years within the Solvay group in various functions, including marketing and sales in plastics and chemicals sectors as well as corporate raw materials purchasing. 

In 2010, he joined PlasticsEurope as Director of Technical and Regulatory Affairs for France and Benelux and took the additional responsibility late 2014 to manage the Waste Management project of the association at a European level. Since May 2020, he is now leading the works of the association for all topics relating to climate and production of plastics, including chemical recycling.   
   
Henk Pool
Innovation Manager
CEFIC

Henk Pool is an Innovation Manager at Cefic, the forum and the voice of the chemical industry in Europe. Henk joined Cefic’s Innovation department in February 2016 as a secondee from the industry. His responsibilities include amongst others, Chemical Recycling of Plastic Waste, Water and Raw Materials innovation programs. He has spent over 30 years of his professional career in the chemical industry. 

Henk holds a Master’s degree in engineering from the Twente University of Technology in The Netherlands.

   
James Skidmore
Head of Consulting
Valpak
James is currently the Head of Consulting having started his career in Valpak in 2001 working on assessment of the recycling infrastructure in the UK. Subsequently he worked within the policy, business development and consulting teams and as the manager of the Distractor Take Back Scheme before leading innovation and diversification projects around Energy Efficiency and Compliance with future legislation. 
 
James left Valpak in 2013 and spent six and a half years as Environmental Resource Manager at Sainsbury’s Argos, reporting into Director level.
   
Cloe Ragot
Head of Policy and Sustainability
Plastics Energy
Cloé is the Head of Policy & Sustainability for Plastic Energy leading the work on EU as well as national regulations associated to chemical recycling, plastic recycling, and circular economy. She is also heavily involved in the development of a sustainability strategy for Plastic Energy and in developing strategic partnerships with key stakeholders. Prior to Plastic Energy, Cloé was a researcher in European political analysis for Eurasia Group specialising in EU and western European politics as well as energy and environmental policies.
