FPE Global exhibited at Chinaplas for the first time this year as part of the British Pavilion with a DIT grant and the show turned out to be a great success. We have received good quality leads for our  material handling and pneumatic conveying equipment.” Stuart Darling, FPE Global Ltd

"We had some issues a week before the exhibition and so there was a lot of last minute planning that had to be done. The help the BPF gave was really appreciated! We needed our marketing re-printing in China and this was co-ordinated and carried out seamlessly and efficiently. We are very grateful for that!" Amin Sheikh, Euro Exim Ltd

All exhibitor listings are available to see in the guide to British exhibitors at Chinaplas 2017. This guide can be downloaded here

The British exhibitor guide, which listed all UK exhibitors with company profiles in simplified Chinese and English, was printed and handed out at the show. It also included the BPF Members Directory, with contact details to all BPF members.

Department for International Trade (DIT) grants

Many of UK exhibitors received a grant from the Department for International Trade (DIT), which contributed to their stand cost and made the exhibition more affordable. The main objective of DIT grants is to support SMEs and encourage them to export. Experienced exporters can also apply if they have been exporting for less than 10 years or have not exhibited at the previous edition of the show.  For a list of grant-supported tradeshows visit here.

Chinaplas 2018 — a new bigger venue

The next edition of Chinaplas will be held in Shanghai between 24 and 27 April 2018. Due to high demand for exhibition space, the Shanghai show has been moved to a new venue and will be even bigger. The new venue is called the National Exhibition and Convention Centre in Hongqiao, Shanghai, which was opened in 2015 and features 400,000 square metres of indoor exhibition space.

The BPF is holding nearly 400sqm of floor space for Chinaplas 2018 in what we hope will be an excellent location. Please contact the BPF’s Justyna Elliott to enquire about booking a stand for Chinaplas 2018.
