Chinaplas 2018 – only a few weeks left to book space at the world’s largest annual plastics show

Chinaplas 2018 – only a few weeks left to book space at the world’s largest annual plastics show

The deadline for booking a stand at one of the plastics industry’s key events – Chinaplas 2018 - is fast approaching. Companies wishing to attend this exhibition need to register before 24 November.

The British Plastics Federation (BPF) is organising the British Pavilion at Chinaplas 2018 and delegates receive assistance with logistics, starting with the registration process. British exhibitors are invited to book stands starting from 6sqm within an excellent location in hall 2H, which features international pavilions from Germany, Austria, Italy, France and more.

China offers huge opportunities for UK plastics companies across the whole supply chain, including material suppliers, service providers and equipment suppliers. It is the second largest export destination for plastics and rubber machinery from Europe after the USA, according to EUROMAP.

The BPF has also applied to the Department for International Trade (DIT) to secure grants of £2,500 for eligible UK exhibitors. Grant availability will be announced as soon as possible.

Chinaplas 2018 will be held in Shanghai between 24 and 27 April 2018 in a new and bigger venue due to exceptionally high demand for exhibition space. The National Exhibition and Convention Centre in Hongqiao, Shanghai, was opened in 2015 and features 400,000 square metres of indoor exhibition space.

The previous edition of the show covered 26 halls and featured 3,485 exhibitors from 38 countries. The exhibition organisers reported record-breaking visitor numbers of 155,258, with 40,000 from overseas.

Contact Justyna Elliott at the BPF to enquire about booking a stand at Chinaplas 2018 before the 24 November deadline.
