Certification
Clean Globe provides globally recognized, accredited, certification worldwide for the sustainable supply chain, which includes but not limited to organic, recycled, and responsible animal fibers to organizations in textile, clothing, footwear, plastic, leather, and other industries.
The overall aim of certifying products, processes, or services is to give confidence to all interested parties that a product, process, or service fulfills specified requirements. The value of certification is the degree of confidence and trust that is established by an impartial and competent demonstration of fulfillment of specified requirements by a third party. (Ref. Certification for Recycled Products
Textile Exchange owned Global Recycled Standard (GRS) and Recycled Claim Standard (RCS) are the well-known recycled content claim standards in the textile and fashion industry. These standards also ensure recycled content claims in packaging, jewellery, accessory, ornament, furniture, building material, automobile, and various other products in which recycled materials are used, such as but not limited to recycled textile, paper, plastic, metal, leather, wood and glass.
GRS and RCS are the choices of most apparel brands for the supply chain certification to achieve their sustainability goals. RCS covers the claims from a minimum of 5% to 100% recycled materials whereas GRS covers from 20%- 100% recycled claims. Additionally, GRS contributes to ensuring the chemical, environmental and social aspects as a comprehensive sustainability standard.
Transaction Certification (TC)
Transaction Certificate (TC) is a document issued by the Certification Body that verifies the goods being shipped (or delivered) from one organization to the next conform to a given standard. Obtaining a TC for all the Textile Exchange standards and Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) for the input materials to be used in the output products with the claim of respective standard(s). Also, the processor or trader necessary to obtain TC for the claimed product that is sold out or delivered to another business entity.
Verification
Third and second-party verifications and tailor-made programs based on code of conduct (CoC), pre-production, inline production, pre-shipment, and supply chain verification for different tiers are the focused areas of our verification services.
Training
Common or Individual training on Recycled Content Certifications such as GRS, RCS and OBP are arranged in different locations or online with prior notices. An on-demand training is arranged for chemical management, sustainable product sourcing, merchandising, and marketing. These courses are delivered onsite as well as online via different E-learning platforms.
