BPF Recycling Roadmap - Second Edition The second edition of the BPF Recycling Roadmap which was released in 2024 and is available here. This document brings together all the current data on plastic recycling in the UK and also presents a forecast for the recycling sector in 2030 and 2035. |

BPF Recycling Group Chairman - The Complex Plastics Equation

Recycled Content Verification Scheme
The BPF and RECOUP have produced a document looking at the Recycled Content Verification Schemes available.
Legacy Additives and the Circular Economy
Please find below a link to a document on Legacy Additves and the Circular Economy. The BPF are asking for realistic levels to be agreed for legacy additives to allow products containing these additives to still be recycled into long lide products with minimial exposure risk for the public. Group Strategy 2017
The BPF Recycling Group represents plastics reprocessors and other organisations at the forefront of UK plastics recycling. Its membership enables the group to act as a focal point for information, experience and valued opinion to industry, the government and the public. BPF Proposal : To encourage and incentivise the use of recycled plastics in UK manufacturing. The paper has its origins in the BPF’s Recycling Group (BPFRG) and its principles are shared across the whole Federation. The proposal sets out the importance of securing end markets for recyclate to achieve a sustainable green economy.
