Design in Plastics Conference to Take Place in September
Tuesday, 18 August 2015
September 17-18 sees the world-renowned Museum of Design in Plastics (MoDIP) host a ground breaking conference on the theme of plastics in design, from the practical to the philosophical.
The two day event is titled Provocative Plastics and includes keynote speakers such as Sebastian Conran, Kigge Hvid and Eric Bischof. It has been organized by MoDIP’s Professor Susan Lambert and the museum team.
Professor Lambert says that ‘all in the international plastics and design communities are warmly invited to come and share in our exciting September programme of ideas.
In many ways the plastics sector finds itself at a crossroads – technically, environmentally and, not least, in terms of its public image. Our conference addresses all of these realities and includes sessions on 3D printing, on creativity and design, on packaging, promotion and the environment.’
The MoDIP conference will also provide valuable networking opportunities.
