Mini Budget Announcement – Apprentice Hire Bonus
|
During yesterdays “mini budget announcement”, the Chancellor of the Exchequer announced a new bonus scheme which will be available for employers who hire apprentices over the next 6 months (between August and January). All apprentices hired between the age of 16 to 24 will result in a £2,000 fund bonus for the employer and £1,500 for those aged above 25 (per apprentice). Read the full report, Click Here… |

Mini Budget Announcement – Traineeships
|
The Chancellor also announced that for the first time ever, government will fund employers who provide traineeships at a rate of £1,000 per trainee. Traineeships are courses which include a work placement and employers are not required to pay trainees unlike apprenticeships. The length of a traineeship can vary between 6 weeks and 6 months.
