Energy Management: a Profitable Sustainable Cycle

The BPF ‘Energy Management’ boot camp is back due to popular demand.  Robin Kent, Tangram Technology consultant and much sought after energy guru, will deliver the workshop on Wednesday 7th December with the aim of providing plastics companies an indepth look into energy cost reduction.

Delegates will work through a 96 page masterclass handbook spanning management, services, processing and operations, whilst receiving two Energy Management books exclusively written by Robin Kent for the plastics industry audience.

‘Energy Management in Plastics Processing: A Signposting Guide’ is designed to provide British plastics processors with a ‘first primer’ in energy management and to stimulate companies to take action. It gives the first actions that processors should take to reduce energy use and costs. Using this guide, plastics processors should be able to review their operations and take some basic actions to reduce their energy use.

‘Synopsis of 'Controlling Energy Use in Plastics Processing (2nd Edition)' is a comprehensive list of projects that companies can undertake to reduce energy use and costs. The guide presents a list of 'ready-made' projects for companies and not only gives the reasons for the projects but also gives the financial benefits of each project and step-by-step actions to complete the projects and save energy and money. The Second Edition expands on the content of the previous edition and includes 30 additional pages of projects.

Companies who have completed all or any of the projects in the first edition will find over 50 new projects in the areas of services, processing and management. This guide is the ideal introduction for companies starting out in energy management who need some 'quick wins'; read the guide, select the projects with the quickest payback and complete them. Use the enthusiasm and savings that successful projects generate to start work on more projects.

Only 2 weeks to go! Book now to avoid disappointment!
