European Commission Funding for SME's in the Plastics Sector

There are several opportunities for R&D funding about to be unveiled over the next few months.  Some are very specific such as responding to a call for proposals to address the “Development of smart and multifunctional packaging concepts utilising nanotechnology” or "Advanced packaging materials from renewable biogenic resources".  Others allow you to propose any subject providing it addresses a big enough market or issue. 

The European Commission will issue calls for R&D proposals specifically for SME’s.  If you have an innovative idea that you would like to pursue to differentiate yourself from your competitors this is a great opportunity.  It would also facilitate working with the best scientists across Europe to provide solutions to your needs.
