Flambeau EuroPlast acquires Quest Consumer Products and Stadium Building Products

Flambeau EuroPlast Ltd has completed the acquisition of Quest Consumer Products Ltd and Stadium Building Products from Stadium Group plc.

The deal will see production of Stadium’s ventilation products for the building, construction and DIY industry, plus well-known Rhino tub brands, and Quest’s babycare range moved to the 11,000 sq m Flambeau site in Ramsgate, East Kent.

John Wingfield, Managing Director of Flambeau EuroPlast, commented: “This acquisition accelerates our strategy to develop our own proprietary products with new lines that perfectly complement our existing contract moulding business and maximise the efficiency of our manufacturing plant.”

“Our businesses both operate in the competitive plastics processing market in the UK and Europe. Combining them with our operations will make us a much stronger entity.”

Turnover will treble from £4.8million to over £15million, putting Flambeau in a strong position to become number one in our target markets.

The deal is expected to see around 70 jobs created in Kent, potentially doubling the existing Flambeau workforce. The company will discuss opportunities for the acquired companies’ staff to transfer from their base in Chingford, East London.
