Funded circular economy project with Japan

Firms can apply to Innovate UK to explore collaborations with Japan to develop “circular” materials and manufacturing know-how.

Innovate’s global business innovation programme (GBIP) is designed to provide introductions, market insights and culture knowledge.  In the middle of the project is a five-day visit to Japan in February 2024.

Japan has a strong environmental industry, including recycling and waste management, remanufacturing and repair, leasing and renting, Innovate says.

Applications close on September 6th.  There is an online briefing on August 25th, a recording of which will be available for those who are interested.
