Gerald Ratner to speak at BPF Annual Dinner 2015
Wednesday, 13 May 2015
The British Plastics Federation (BPF) is delighted to announce that Gerald Ratner will be the after-dinner speaker for its 82nd Annual Dinner, which is set to take place at the Lancaster London Hotel on 29th October 2015.
Gerald is renowned for one of the biggest gaffes in business history when, as the chief executive of the world’s largest jewellery retail company, he described one of his products as ‘total crap’. The resultant near collapse of the company with£500 million being wiped from the value of Ratner’s Group of jewellers forced his resignation. The savvy businessman has however since bounced back and now runs the UK’s largest online jewellery business, Gerald Online.
Gerald will discuss his business experiences and his rollercoaster journey in an entertaining after-dinner speech.
The BPF Annual Dinner once again returns to the Lancaster London Hotel, famed for its links to the 1969 film The Italian Job, and will include a 4 course dinner, as well as a jam-packed evening of entertainment.
With over 400 guest already confirmed, so book your place now to avoid missing out on this fantastic evening!
