Government releases strategy for Household Energy Management

The Strategy will deliver on the UK Government's Commitment to cut carbon emissions from homes by 29% by 2020. By 2015, the Government wants to help every household install loft and cavity wall insulation. There is also potential for technologies for renewable energy generation to be installed by 2020. As well as aiding the UK's commitment, it is likely that the Strategy will see the rapid expansion of the home energy efficiency industry and sustain upto 65,000 jobs by 2020.
