Their joint venture efforts will be initially focused on the explosive growth of the market for consumer communications accessories.
Dave Cupit, Director of Monnex-UK Ltd, summed up the advantages to Monnex of this venture agreement, stating that “with Monnex’s global background in delivering production solutions to customers across diverse manufacturing sectors, it makes perfect sense align our company with the leading surface decoration provider. We are confident that, by pooling their capability and experience, the Monnex-IDT venture will very quickly become a major international supplier to industry, supporting products and projects from product and tool design, sourcing, and on through to Six Sigma manufacturing, surface decoration and customization and product delivery. Our goal is to push technical and logistical boundaries and to succeed where others have been unable to go.”
Speaking on behalf of IDT Systems Ltd, Peter H.L. Woodd, Chief Executive Officer, said that “We are very pleased to be able to announce this joint venture after having had the opportunity for some time now to work very closely together with the Monnex team and to address growing customer demands and market needs for a fully integrated production service from Design to Decoration to Delivery. Our partnership has already delivered cost effective solutions for five new product launches and we currently have an additional six projects currently underway. Adding Monnex’s remarkable skills and experience in all aspects of manufacturing to IDT’s ability to drive digital images into the surfaces of a wide range of plastic, metal, glass, wood and ceramic products has created a very strong and talented entity with global reach.”
By bringing together the respective staffs of the organization, the joint venture team will have the ability to identify and define a product launch team and rapidly move a visual and functional concept from the customer –driven design stage, through prototyping and production feasibility testing and on to manufacturing release. Strong sourcing experience provides the ability to designate the highest quality manufacturing location while keeping both up-fron and in-line cost controls paramount and organizations lean and effective.
IDT Systems Ltd will be exhibiting at three locations at the upcoming Gadget Show Live 2011 in Birmingham, England from 12 through 17 April and will be introducing a number of new initiatives and technologies.
