Ingenia Polymers and IKA Group have formed a US joint venture for PVC additives / Houston-based firm targets North America

After agreeing on the principle terms in 2022 and the respective announcement during K-Fair in October 2022, Ingenia Polymers and IKA Group have incorporated their Houston, Texas based Joint Venture “IKAvin Additives Inc.” in January 2023.

Ingenia and IKA are now undertaking all necessary steps to prepare the further structure, organization and operations in order to start production in the course of the first half of 2023. “This joint enterprise marks another great step in IKAs long term, strategic growth”, Alexander Hofer, CEO IKA Group.
IKAvin will focus on the whole North American market on the added value for Customers in providing innovative Stabilizers, Strategic Product Development as well as Customer oriented Technical Service for all PVC-applications, which also includes tin replacement.

The past two years, IKA has been expanding its portfolio throughout Europe and other selected markets and is providing leading technology for all PVC-applications.
