These tanks are made from WRAS Approved UV protected rotationally moulded polyethylene and are supplied with a fully galvanised frame.
Brief Description:
JFC supply a range of portable emergency water tanks, known Aquacubes. These tanks are made from UV protected rotationally moulded polyethylene and are supplied with a fully galvanised frame. They are widely used in emergency situations to provide water to the public when adverse weather conditions such as periods of drought, flooding, severe freezing or general maintenance and repair prohibits water supply. In such situations these tanks are typically placed in a convenient location to supply emergency water to domestic residences in the event of mains water supply failure.
In recent years we have experienced unprecedented weather conditions both in Ireland and the UK over the winter months with extensive flooding and frost. Curtailment on public water supply and shortages due to frozen pipes has never been as common. With freezing temperatures the integrity of existing water pipe work has been seriously compromised with severe ground frost causing leaks and leading to interrupted water supply.
JFC Aquacube products have proved to be the perfect solution in such instances. In such situations these tanks are typically placed in a convenient location to supply emergency water to domestic residences in the event of mains water supply failure. They are now widely used by local authorities and national water companies to provide water to the public during periods of adverse weather conditions, general maintenance and repair of water supplies.
Our Initial pioneering project for the manufacture and supply of these emergency water storage solutions was for a company called “Severn Trent Water”. Severn Trent Water are one of the UK’S largest water company’s serving over 8 million customers across the heart of the UK, stretching from the Bristol Channel to the Humber, and from central Wales to the East Midlands.
