John Sergeant Announced as Annual Dinner Speaker

The BPF is delighted to announce that John Sergeant will be the after dinner speaker for the 84th BPF Annual Dinner. This years dinner will take place on 12 October 2017 at the Lancaster London Hotel, near Lancaster Gate in the heart of London.

John will entertain the audience with stories from his 30 years of work at the BBC, where he eventually became Chief Political Correspondent.  As a war reporter John covered all the major global trouble spots including Northern Ireland, Vietnam, Rhodesia and the Middle East. From the world of politics John will provide anecdotes from his many famous run ins with Margaret Thatcher.

He is also sure to mention his time on Strictly Come Dancing, where he achieved a somewhat unlikely cult status due to his unexpected success on the programme.
The BPF Annual Dinner is due to attract over 500 attendees from all sectors of the plastics industry for one of the most prestigious events in the plastics industry calendar. Tickets are still available and more information can be found on the BPF webpage
