This is the Noble Collection official Lord of the Rings Chess Set First Edition (no expansion set). When working as a morning show radio host we gave away Fellowship of the Ring premier tickets, and the promotion company also gave us this amazing chess set as part of the giveaway. this lucky geek claimed it as her own, my Precious, my Precious... I have treasured it, and except for playing it a couple of times with my Dad, (and losing badly, thanks, Dad) it has been kept in excellent condition, containing all the pieces and the original box for the chess pieces. Here is a list of the exceptions in regard to its condition. There is no certificate of authenticity.

No box for the chess board itself. One missing sword for one pawn/hobbit. Boromir is missing his sword and forearm. To be expected when fighting alone against the Urokhai, or is fate that the hand that tried to take the ring is now missing?
