Toby Chandler is a Senior Manager in the Innovation Incentives team at EY. He holds a PhD in Chemistry along with Masters and Bachelors degrees in Chemistry related sciences. Toby has a number of years experience working as a scientist for a Global FMCG company, where he undertook activities in research and new product development. Toby provides guidance for applying the definition of R&D for tax purposes that go beyond the obvious areas of research and development. Toby is experienced in preparing R&D claims for a range sectors including successfully delivered Plastic Manufacturing claims.
