Meet the Recycler was a roaring success
Wednesday, 20 April 2016
On the 19th April, the British Plastics Federation (BPF) held their inaugural Meet the Recycler, which was hosted by Evolve Polymers Limited, at their plant in Hemswell. The conference follows the successful 'Meet the Toolmaker' event and forms part of the BPF's calendar of events.
There were nearly 40 attendees from 29 companies with nine recyclers exhibiting. Also present were representatives from WRAP and RECOUP, as well as from the BPF. The main aim of the event was to allow moulders and recyclers in the plastics industry to get together in one place and network in a more informal environment. The Meet the Recycler conference also provides a unique opportunity to showcase recycled material to moulders who are interested in using recycled plastics as part of their manufacturing process and is the first conference to be hosted by Evolve Polymers.
Chris Brown, CEO Evolve Polymers says, “Working with the BPF to host this event is a great opportunity for us to build closer and better relationships with our fellow BPF members, as well allowing us to showcase our products and manufacturing processes.”
David Richardson of Marwood group said "Meet the recyclers was a good networking opportunity and a great platform to explore the potential of recycled materials in the moulding industry. I enjoyed the tour of Evolve facilities as it added an extra dimension".
