BPF Launches Enhanced Mobile-Friendly Website
Yesterday, on Monday 2nd February, we launched a new and improved website. After working on the project for over a year, the website now features more user benefits than ever before. With an enhanced ‘Plastics Industry Directory’, an updated 'Plastipedia – the biggest online plastics encyclopedia', a brand new funding portal and an extension on access to plastics market data, we are positive our website both simplifies and heightens user experience... click here

BPF Launches Education and Skills Committee
On the 27th January 2015 the British Plastics Federation formally established an Education and Skills Committee, with its kick-off meeting taking place at BPF House in London. The meeting was attended by a cross section of plastics firms within membership as well as training providers and Universities who supply into the Plastics Industry... click here

BPF Commitment to Health and Safety
As part of its commitment to Health and Safety, the BPF invites all its members to sign up for SIMPL (Safety in Manufacturing Plastics) 2014-2017. Please be aware that signatories to the SIMPL 2010-2013 pledge will not be automatically registered as a SIMPL 2014-2017 member: SIMPL 2014-2017 is a second phase of the strategy with different objectives which Members will need to agree to... click here

WRAP Report: 'Employment and the Circular Economy'
According to a study published by WRAP and the Green Alliance, more than 200,000 jobs could be created across Britain through the growth of the reuse and recycling sectors. The report claims that a growth in resource efficiency practices would have ‘lasting effects’ on the British Labour market, due to the “intensive” use of labour in the related sectors... click here
