Plastics 2020 Parliamentary Reception: Government Packaging Recycling and Waste Policy 'Muddled'
At a Parliamentary Reception in the House of Commons on 16 May, hosted by John Pugh MP, senior members of the industry gathered to lend their weight to a growing lobby for a change in approach towards plastics packaging recycling and waste. The industry group included senior leaders from the BPF, Plastics Europe (the Europe-wide polymers producer group) and PAFA.

British Plastics Federation Dismisses Health Concerns Over Plastic
Claims within a survey published this week which are said to show that people in the UK are concerned about the possible health risks arising from chemicals migrating into foods from packaging, have been refuted by the British Plastics Federation.

Taking place on 12th June 2014 at the BPF's offices in London, the BPF's 'Plastics in Packaging: Consumer Focus' event will feature presentations from expert speakers including Louis Lindenberg of Unilever and Tom Sheldon from the Science and Media Centre.
