BPF President’s Speech Cites Greg Hammond as BPF Gold Medal Winner 2014 BPF President, Mike Boswell announced that Greg Hammond of Gabriel Chemie has been awarded the BPF's Gold Medal for services to the industry at the BPF's Annual Dinner on 16th October 2014. Greg Hammond was the major force behind the creation of the BPF’s Masterbatch and Technical Compounds Group and has been its Chairman, with unanimous support from the Group members, for over 8 years… click here

Over 460 attendees join the BPF for its 2014 Annual Dinner
The BPF Annual Dinner 2014 took place on 16th October with over 460 attendees joining the BPF for this auspicious occasion. The evening featured a formal dinner as well as music, dancing, a well frequented bar and an after dinner speech delivered by journalist and ex MP Matthew Parris. PVC Cables Workshop 2014
With its first PVC Cables workshop, the European PVC industry intends to present the state of the art on PVC cables (technical and environmental performance, regulatory framework, recycling technologies) and their beneficial properties to the European cables producers. Employer Ownership Fund: Developing Women Engineers
The Engineering Skills Fund is still open for Employers to bid into. Government provides a 50% cash match for employers' training. This is for training which does not fit into mainstream funding channels (so it excludes apprenticeships and Degree courses)... click here
