Top Level ADCA Briefing at BPF
The BPF hosted a high level meeting, on 11th September, of trade association Directors with an interest in trying to prevent ADCA having to be authorised under the REACH regulation. Jack Straw MP, former Home Secretary and Foreign Minister is taking a major interest in the case and the meeting was held to brief his assistant Daniel Sleat prior to Jack Straw going to Brussels for meetings with DG Enterprise and DG Environment…click here

BPF Welcomes New Member of Staff
The BPF is pleased to advise Members that Mr Matthew Davies has been appointed as Industrial Issues Executive with responsibilities for Polymer Suppliers, Polymer Distributors & Compounders, Masterbatch and Technical Compounds, Additives Suppliers, Bio-based Polymers, Fire Safety and Product Safety. Matthew has recently graduated with an undergraduate Masters in Chemistry (MChem) from Kingston University as part of which he spent a one year industrial placement with GlaxoSmithKline. click here
