Former BPF DG Honoured at Plastics Industry Awards
Peter Davis , the BPF's former Director General was named as the recipient of the Personal Achievement Award at the recent Plastics Industry Awards, held at the Hilton Park Lane on Friday 24th October . During his time in office at the BPF, the Federation was able to secure a Climate Change Agreement and set up BPF Energy which brought enormous cost savings to the industry. BPF Introduce Two New Members of the Business Support Network - OLTEC Group and UHY Hacker Young
The British Plastics Federation are delighted to welcome OLTEC Group and UHY Hacker Young into the Business Support Network. Oltec Group are a Nationwide Facilities Management company who provide Manned Guarding, Electronics & Hygiene, Cleaning, Ground Maintenance, Waste Management amongst other services. The UHY Hacker Young Group, established in London in 1925, is a Top 20 Group of UK chartered accountants, with 99 partners and 490 professional staff operating from 23 offices nationwide.

BPF and ARMO launch Student Design Competition
The BPF and ARMO are holding a rotational moulding student design competition as part of the ARMO 2015 event. The three categories for the competition are 'Our Green Environment', 'Illumination' and 'At Leisure'. Each winner will receive a cash prize with the overall winner receiving a further cash prize and a 6 month work placement....

Construction Industry Unite at Parliamentary Reception
The BPF's Director General Philip Law, accompanied by Public & Industrial Affairs Manager Sarah Plant and Senior Executive Francisco Morcillo, joined other representatives of the Construction Industry at a Parliamentary Reception hosted by Baroness Garden of Frognal and the Construction Products Association on Tuesday 21st October. The reception was well attended by MP's from both sides of the House and provided a platform for discussion on a number of plastics related issues.
