Sustainable Manufacturing Mission to China and Chinaplas (Guangzhou 17 - 20 May 2011)

The BPF and UK Trade & Investment is offering companies the opportunity to take part in a Sustainable Manufacturing trade mission to South China. The mission will enable you to share your knowledge and explore partnering opportunities and help them to meet challenging environmental targets and save resources in a practical and economic way.

The Mission is targeted towards British delegates wishing to explore the Chinese market in an efficient and cost effective way. UKTI are looking for a specific set of companies that can help China improve the efficiency and sustainability of its manufacturing processes.

Why Chinaplas?

Chinaplas is the largest plastics and rubber exhibition in Asia in 2011 and is expected to attract 76,000 visitors (from 35 countries) with more than 2,100 companies exhibiting. The show is now the third largest plastics show globally and the world’s largest annual show.The show is takes place in Guangzhou, the capital of the
Guangdong province. Guangdong is the largest plastics manufacturing region in China accounting for over one quarter of all plastics production.

Day 3 (19/05/2011) - Chinaplas visit/ PM Pre-arranged B2B meetings

Day 4 (20/05/2011) - Travel to Shenzen / Pre-arranged B2B meetings

Day 5 (21/05/2011) - Fly back to UK - Optional Stay Over

A UK Trade and Investment (UKTI) support package is being developed which will include in-country transport, organisation of seminars, conferences and one-to-one meetings, and basic marketing collateral in the form of translated Mission Guide. Companies will be responsible for cost of travelling to China, accommodation and subsistence. There is no management fee
