More companies turning to recycling
Tuesday, 22 June 2021
A rise in the price of polymer and disruption to the supply chain has led to more companies turning to recycling their scrap plastics.
Many companies that had not previously considered in-house recycling of their scrap material are looking to utilise this all too often overlooked asset.
Recycling scrap plastics into re-useable pellets maximises efficiency whilst eliminating other issues such as storage. Recycling scrap in-house gives the user complete control over the process and ensures the quality of the end pellet.
Munchy invented the Dual-Diameter Screw which minimises the amount of thermal degradation in order to produce as higher quality of pellet as possible.
A higher quality pellet allows for a greater percentage to be re-used in the main manufacturing process and therefore maximising the cost savings.
Munchy manufacture a range of recycling systems in order to meet with specific needs of each company including output.
