Pivoting for success: Building more resilient UK manufacturing supply chains post-Covid-19 - 10 June

10 June 2020
12.00 - 12.45 - Free Webinar

Professor Janet Godsell from Warwick Manufacturing Group will present on building more resilient UK manufacturing supply chains.

The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted how critical manufacturing supply chains are to the process of delivering products and services essential to life. Whilst a series of ‘lifeboat’ projects are needed to protect manufacturing capability in the short term, now is the time for UK manufacturing supply chains to pivot and build capability for the future. This webinar will share 5 critical considerations for resilient UK manufacturing supply chains post COVID-19 for the plastics industry:

1. What should the UK manufacture?
2. What critical infrastructure is required?
3. How can the UK ‘mine for materials’?
4. How can the UK design future fit manufacturing supply chains?
5. How does the UK build a bedrock of fundamental manufacturing and supply chain skills?

Please be aware that whilst both BPF members and non-members are invited to listen to the live webinar, only members of the BPF will have access to the recording of the webinar.
