PLAST Exhibition
The BPF recently attended the PLAST 2012 Exhibition, Milan, Italy (May 8-12). The exhibition, which is held every 3 years and organised by PROMAPLAST srl , is one of the most important exhibitions for the plastics and rubber industries. There were a total of 50,593 visitors to Plast 2012 (down from 55,175 in 2009), the event provided ample opportunity for the BPF to promote our members’ services, our European projects, so too the BPF’s wide range of services.
The BPF’s Director General, Peter Davis who was attending the show for the first time, was also able to cement relationships with PAGEV, the Turkish Plastics Association, and AIPMA, the All India Plastics Manufacturers’ Association. The BPF of course recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding with both organisations.
Both Peter and Snr. Projects Executive Tim Marsden were also able to foster relations with our Russian Counterparts, the Russian Association of Plastics Processors, with a view to assisting with the BPF’s visit to Interplastica, Moscow, 29th January - 1st February 2013.
