Roger Baynham, Philip Tyler Polymers
Roger has 25 years experience in the industry , originally with Philip Tyler Ltd and since 1994 as Managing Director of Philip Tyler Polymers LTD. Additionally he was appointed as a non – executive Director of Environmental Recycling Technologies PLC in 2006 and has more recently taken up an executive position as Managing Director . Roger is also Chairman of the WRAP Plastics Forum.

Alison Bramfitt, Nestle
Alison has spent over 15 years in the packaging industry and has worked for both large retail and FMCG businesses. She has held a number of roles in Nestlé and is currently the Group Packaging Manager for Nestlé UK and Ireland, overseeing packaging sustainability. She is a board member of INCPEN and is on DEFRA’s Advisor Committee for Packaging (ACP).

Ben Brooks, Platts
Ben is responsible for Platts’ global coverage of recycled plastics markets, including price reporting and news coverage. Platts is currently focused on the European and UK markets, North America and Southeast Asia, bringing market participants a global view of recycled plastics market prices, market fundamentals and trade flows.  Ben joined Platts in 2018 and has worked in teams covering European Gas and Power, Shipping and aromatics markets.

James Bull, Tesco
James is a change professional with a 25 year track record of delivering transformation initiatives across the Tesco business, currently leading the Packaging team; 
He is committed to removal, reduction, reuse and recycling of packaging used across the Tesco global supply chain, ensuring they only use packaging with a purpose and everything they use can be reused or recycled.

Tesco are focused on accelerating the exit of hard to recycle materials, increasing the use of recycled materials and helping customers make environmentally responsible decisions. They are working with industry to influence the improvement of retrieval and recycling in the UK moving towards progressively closed loop systems for packaging.

Helen Jordan, British Plastics Federation
Helen is the Senior Recycling Issue Executive at the British Plastics Federation and has work with the BPF Recycling Group for over 4 years. The Recycling Group focus on issues such as PRN reform and legacy additives and are an active group of 50 members. Helen is currently working with a consultant on producing the BPF Recycling Roadmap. Previously Helen also looked after the Sustainability Committee within the BPF and ran Operation Clean Sweep (a programme to reduce plastic pellet loss from industry). Before working at the BPF Helen spent 7 years in local government working within the Waste and Recycling Team. 

Malcolm Lythgo, Environment Agency
Overseeing the national implementation of waste legislation and enforcement work for the Environment Agency, Malcolm engages with industry and Government to achieve better outcomes for the environment when dealing with waste.  Having started his career regulating waste sites in Devon and Nottinghamshire, Malcolm has come back to Waste after more than 15 years as an EA strategic manager in several national and area roles, including Area Manager in the Midlands and Head of the National Environmental Monitoring Service.

Kim West, ReNew ELP
Kim West joined ReNew ELP as Communications Manager in early 2019 following a career in packaging design for a global FMCG brand, working with flexible films and plastic ready meal packaging. Following this she continued in packaging design within the alcoholic beverage sector for a number of UK brands, including plastic labelling and shrink wraps, followed by Marketing Management for a print firm. The move to ReNew ELP sees Kim working at the other end of the packaging chain, focusing on developing a viable recycling option for the flexible packaging she began her career with. During her time at ReNew ELP the project has developed substantially and Kim now also acts as Communications Manager for Mura Technology, who own the global license to the Cat-HTR™ that ReNew ELP are developing, allowing her a wider global view of recycling development and challenges.
