Polymer Apprentice of the Year Award 2017 - Winner Announced

The winner of the 2017 Polymer Apprentice of the Year Award has been announced as Oliver Marsh of MGB Plastics, Rotheram; joint Runners-Up Thomas Fletcher of Polypipe Civils, Horncastle and Tom Rayson of RPC Market Rasen, Market Rasen; and Highly Commended James Vincent of Luxus, Louth.

Amidst a high calibre of entries for 2017 Oliver managed to rise above and win the award, being lauded for his committed approach to work and confidence. Oliver will be presented with his prize of £500 and a ceremonial drinking horn, along with the Apprentice Horner Certificate from the Lord Mayor of London at the Livery Companies Skills Council Apprentice Ceremony in February 2018.

The award is for apprentices employed in a technical, engineering, manufacturing or design role associated with polymer processing or polymer/additive manufacture. It is run jointly by the Worshipful Company of Horners and the BPF.
